Easy Work Permits in KL

In addition to endogenous growth, the technology hub Kaiserslautern is striving for exogenous growth, with the acquisition of international companies playing a major role.  In addition to the more than fifty years of friendship with the United States, we in Kaiserslautern see India as an almost perfect partner country due to its increasing international significance as well as the existing relationships with the University of Kaiserslautern and the research institutes.

The state of Rhineland-Palatinate as well as the city of Kaiserslautern therefore supports the settlement of Indian companies. For this reason, the Office of Foreigner Affairs will check applications of Indian IT companies favorably, taking into account the special economic interests of both the city of Kaiserslautern and the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.

The state of Rhineland-Palatinate supports the strategic importance of the German-Indian partnership and rates the Rhineland-Palatinate commercial relations very highly. This is why a German-Indian competence center was set up in Mainz and in Pune in 2009. In the same year, a partnership was established between the PRE Park technology site in Kaiserslautern and the Infopark in Kochi, Kerala.
